The Armed Forces Champions’ role is to champion the Armed Forces throughout the council and other networks. They are a point of contact, supporting service personnel, families and veterans and connect people with council services. Working closely with the Covenant Lead Officer their role will be to consider the impact of council decisions on the Armed Forces community.
At Waverley Borough Council the role of Armed Forces Champions is shared by the Mayor and the Leader of the Council.
