Councillor Steve Cosser

Steve Cosser has lived in the Godalming area for over 40 years with his wife and family. He knows the area well and has a total Commitment to its wellbeing and improvement. His career was in local Government at a senior level and he brings this experience to bear on his work as a Waverley Borough Councillor.

He has been a Godalming Town Councillor since 2007 and was honoured to serve as Town Mayor in 2011-12. He has also previously served as Surrey County Councillor for Godalming North from 2009 – 2017.

He is involved in a wide range of community organisations and has been a governor of two local schools. More recently he has been involved in setting up and acting as Chairman of the Farncombe Initiative, which is working to improve the Farncombe and Binscombe areas. Steve’s leisure interests include travel,football and bowls.
