APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE AND SUBSTITUTES

To receive any apologies for absence and substitutes.

 

Where a Member of the Committee is unable to attend a substitute Member may attend, speak and vote in their place at that meeting.

 

Members are advised that in order for a substitute to be arranged a Member must give four (4) clear working days’ notice of their apologies.

 

For this meeting the latest date apologies can be given for a substitute to be arranged is Wednesday 16 February 2022.

Prior to the start of the agenda the chairman asked members to remember Cllr Brian Adams who was a substitute member of the Committee and had passed away unexpectedly.

Cllrs Peter Nicholson and Stephen Mulliner attended as substitutes.

Minutes:

Cllr Carole Cockburn declared a pecuniary interest in TPO 13/21 – Land at Hankley Common Golf Club as her husband was a member of the club and she had made her views known regarding this application.

 

Cllrs John Robini and Jacqui Keen declared non pecuniary interests in application WA/2021/02448 – Land at Chapman House as one of the objectors were known to them.

TPO 13/21 - LAND AT HANKLEY COMMON GOLF CLUB, TILFORD ROAD, TILFORD, FARNHAM, GU10 2DD pdf icon PDF 2 MB

To consider the objection to making of a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) 13/21 and to determine whether the Order should be confirmed, with or without modification. The report has no direct resource implications. There are environmental benefits in retaining the tree which merit special protection.

 

Recommendation

 

It is recommended that the Tree Preservation Order 13/2021 applying to a single Mature English Oak on land owned by Hankley Common Golf Club, TILFORD ROAD, TILFORD, FARNHAM, GU10 2DD be confirmed without modification.
