Minutes:

Proposal

A replacement dwelling within the Rural Settlement of Shamley Green.

Decision

RESOLVED that permission be REFUSED for the following reason:

1.    Reason

The replacement dwelling would be materially larger than the one it is to replace and therefore represents inappropriate Green Belt development. No very special circumstances have been demonstrated to exist and the proposal therefore fails to accord with Policy RE2 of the local Plan 2018 (Part1) and retained Policy RD2A of the Local Plan 2002.
