Apologies for absence were received from Cllr Paul Follows.

To receive from Members declarations of interests in relation to any items included on the Agenda for this meeting in accordance with the Waverley Code of Local Government Conduct.

Minutes:

Cllr David Else declared a pecuniary interest in items B6 and B7 and left the Council Chamber while these items were considered.

 

Cllrs Steve Cosser and Peter Martin declared non-pecuniary interests in item B7 as the applicant was a personal friend. In the interests of public perception, they left the room while the item was considered.

Any Relevant Updates to Government Guidance or Legislation Since the Last Meeting

Officers to update the Committee on any changes to the planning environment of which they should be aware when making decisions.

Minutes:

The Committee heard that updated guidance had been published in relation to the Habitats Regulations. This had no impact on the items on the Committee’s agenda for this meeting, and a briefing session would be arranged for Members in due course.
