Minutes:

Councillors Jerome Davidson and John Robini declared non-pecuniary interests as members of the Haslemere society. Councillor Simon Dear declared a non-pecuniary interest in item  A1 - Loneside, 41 Petworth Road,  Haslemere as he lived close to the site.

Demolition of the link building; alterations to the main hotel building to provide a 12-bedroom hotel with restaurant and bar and a new access to the High Street; provision of ancillary parking and landscaping (revision of application WA/2018/0408)

 

Recommendation

 

That, subject to the applicant entering into an appropriate legal agreement within 6 months of the date of the committee resolution to grant planning permission, to secure the provision of/contributions towards: SuDS and open space  management/maintenance and subject to conditions 1-32 and informatives 1-16, permission be GRANTED.

This motion was agreed with a vote (for deferral) of 9 for and 1 abstention.
